2019 April portfolio report
April was a great month for me when it comes to financials. This is the first month I tried to invest a bigger part of my paycheck. Gained tax returns that I plan to invest straight up. And overall, investing was not bad 🙂 So let’s dive deeper into each platform to review my results.
This is a new way I will try to show my monthly results, to make them easier to understand at a quick look. And I will start sharing my income at each platform.
|Platform||Size at the begging of the month||Monthly change||Monthly gains||Average interest rate||Funds added during this month|
*Nordstreet platform does not hold my deposits directly, but uses Paysera platform as a money holder and directly moves money trough that account when I invest or gain interests. When calculating monthly change I will give monthly gains percentage rather than whole portfolio size change.
Gains this month increased by 55.85% compared to last month. A big part of it is due to Mintos affiliate bonus payout, that made up half of my Mintos gains.
One more new thing that I will track is portfolio distribution, between two major loan types. I do believe that real estate peer to peer loans behave differently than other loan types, as they are always guaranteed by real estate and never have buyback guarantees.
At the end of March, I had a lot of late loans, and I was afraid that most of them will eventually default. If that would have happened, I would have lost basically half of my gains in Finbee platform. But as April went by, most of the loans that were late, got paid. Overall at the end of April, there are still a lot of late loans, but as long as they get repaid in 30 days, I am happy. I guess, the more I invest and fund different loans, the more late loans I will have. But I shouldn’t worry that much, as most of my late loans are business loans and my autolend settings, fund only loans that have some sort of mortgage attached.
I recently made Finbee platform review. Check it out if you would like to invest in this platform.
I am really satisfied with Mintos performance during April. Of course, my earnings are a bit larger than usual, due to affiliate bonus, that was paid out this month. But even without it, I am quite happy. I will continue to invest in Mintos platform even more and will make this one my largest investment.
At the end of March, I invested in another loan and during April it was funded. Nordstreet is focused only on the Lithuanian market so far, so I guess they don’t have international investors. Also even in Lithuania, they are not that big, so each new loan takes a while to get funded unless it’s really attractive. I doubt I will invest in this platform for the next few months, as interest rates are a bit better in Estateguru.co and each loan can be funded with less money. But so far, as a platform, Nordstreet seems to be fine.
Estateguru offered a 0.5% cashback for every loan that I invested (special offer for me, cause I registered, but didn’t invest for a month). So I decided, to get my free money, even if it’s only 0.50€. I was planning to invest in this platform anyways, so why not get extra money from it.
Plans for May
I already started, with an investment to Mintos and at the same time planning to open up an account with another platform called Robocash. At first, I didn’t trust this platform, but reviews seem to be good. As always, I will give my honest opinion about it.
Given that I got a tax refund at the end of April, I will invest it into Robocash. As for other platforms, I am still not sure. Maybe there will be a new investment into Estateguru, but as of right now I am not sure.
Anyways, as always, have a nice month! Also, the weather is getting warmer and warmer every day, more things to enjoy 🙂
